Up until September 2009 I 'was' a 34B. I then got a job in a b-e-a-uuuutiful Lingerie boutique where I was promptly fitted into a 32E. BANG. Thinner than I thought and bustier - TREAT.
I now work in an upmarket department store where I look after their Lingerie department. I love my job. There's so much satisfaction in fitting a woman properly. Most, like me, are smaller in the back and bigger in the cup. It doesn't hurt! My clothes look better! People have told me I've lost weight!
It's all about education! If you get properly fitted and are told what you're looking for in a good fit then you can pass that on! I told every man and his dog when I was refitted. An E cup! I could've shouted it from the rooftops I was so chuffed.
It hasn't always been knickers. Nope, last year I graduated with a degree in Economics. But numbers aren't as fun as knickers.
So who told me what I know? Why should you trust ME? Well, I was given fitting training by an expert from Rigby and Peller and everything else I've learned through experience. Experience with customers of all shapes, sizes and ages. Who come back and tell me how they got on. Customers I've served for years, selling them bridal underwear, honeymoon swimwear and then maternity bras. Experience with different brands, shapes, sizes, cuts and fabrics. When I discovered my true size it kick-started an addiction to fantastic lingerie. But that doesn't always mean expensive.
All boobs are different. None were created equal.
